We were a couple and booked through a beach agent for USD 65 pp. The boat is fantastic, lots of shade, if needed. Bar service excellent. Boat was clean, not too crowded and had a slide and easy shore/sea entry. Length of excursion was slightly less than expected. No fins provided for snorkeling. BBQ meat was great but that's it - no salads. First snorkeling site had lots of fish (see photos). Second site, closer to Sosua, practically none. Friends in a smaller Bravo boat had same features but paid only $50 pp. We think a previous excursion on 'TipTop' was better overall value but this is a good option.

My girlfriend and I booked a sunset party cruise from a rep on the beach not knowing fully what to expect. We ended up having such a good time we booked another cruise for the following night when we were done! The crew was very friendly and made sure everyone was having a fun time all while supervising for safety. The snorkeling had lots of fish and the water was beautiful, you could jump or slide off the boat which seemed like it was brand new. The drive to and from the boat was in an open air truck with music blasting the whole way. Some bbq food is made ready to eat at sunset around 6pm as the music and partying continues! A couple things to note, the commute was about 30-40 minutes from Puerto Plata which wasn't helped by road construction and detours. You are dropped off and walk down a little stairway ally to grab lifejackets from a dive shop before heading out to the beach. Your sandals are collected and kept at the dive shop for your return. The most challenging part for some may be loading onto the small power boat that takes you to the catamaran moored in the bay. The crew beached the smaller boat and guests hopped in between waves. This looked a little intimidating but the crew did a good job keeping people organized and controlling the boat. If you get sea sick you may want to take something since the swells can make it a little rolly. Thanks again to the whole crew for the great excursions and best memories of our trip! Good price and the service was great. They feed you on the ride and provide drinks. Very fast to refill your glass when it's empty, beautiful diving spots, definitely recommend the experience.

My family did a private snorkeling tour. It was absolutely amazing. Just beware if you are cruising it is a good trip from port to the boat but it is worth it. The crew Was absolutely amazing. Luca made sure the drinks were flowing and we were safe in the water. Tony was amazing on the grill and gave us background on each stop. Lunch was great. I can’t remember thr photographer name( I’m sorry) but he captured every moment of our trip. They even made sure we were back to the ship in time. 5 stars all around!!!!
